The rooms are MASSIVE. I was completely shocked. The lobby is small and perhaps persons dont like it but I personally prefer places that have better rooms than lobbies over places with really gorgeous lobbies and not as great rooms. While there aren't necessarily any facilities on the property, except for the small lobby, the rooms make up for it twice fold. There was a living room, bedroom and the bathroom was huge. The shower was fantastic and has the feature for drying your clothes if needed. There's a sink in the bathroom and then an entire station with a sink in the living room. All in all, I'll be picking this location every time I come to Hiroshima. The location is perfect. 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station where the Shinkansen arrives and about the same walk to multiple bus stations around. There's a cafe called Sakurano Cafe right down the street and the old couple who run it are so welcoming. The old lady is the sweetest person in the world. Absolutely amazing stay and the staff is so nice!

Beautiful rooms and a cool vibe. This place is a 15 min walk from the station and is in a residential neighborhood. This does mean you are a little far from places you might want to go to as a tourist, but the public transportation system in Hiroshima is pretty great. The hotel has everything you will need, but some things (body lotion, robes, iron, etc) need to be "rented" (but it's free). Our room had an emergency exit which meant that there was only room for one chair in the balcony, which was disappointing. It would have been nice if they could have accommodated two smaller chairs as it defeats the socializing purpose of the balcony if only one guest can be there at a time. The in-room coffee provided was of excellent quality, and the staff were very helpful in coordinating with the luggage delivery service.

The room was very big and clean and the amenities were good. The Valentine's Day chocolate was a thoughtful little surprise. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They know Hiroshima well and can offer advice or brochures with information to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I ended up not going, but the complimentary sake tasting event must be a great experience too. You can also pay extra for a koto lesson right at the hotel. It cost me 9900 JPY and it was a 1 on 1 lesson. By the end of the lesson I learned how to play the famous song "Sakura" on koto. The location of the hotel is great. It's a 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station and there's a conbini at 10 minutes walking distance too. I didn't rent one but it seems the hotel offers bicycles for the day at a reasonable price.

Everything! We had a tatami suite double room with balcony, which had lots of space and a view of the river, and we would keep going to the balcony just to take in the sunrise, sunset, the fish and the birds. The room was clean and comfortable, had tea (get your refill bags from the lounge area) and coffee and if you just need to wash a few items, the shower room has a drying fan which was super useful. The staff were warm and friendly and replied promptly to my messages prior to our arrival. They gave us recommendations, helped make a restaurant reservation, and called a taxi for us. The sake tasting session was a bonus! The hotel location is quite tranquil, and a few minutes' walk will bring you to a tram stop and beyond that, it's a few more minutes to Hiroshima Station.

We loved this hotel! The location is very quiet and there are konbinis nearby. The hotel is very calm and Nana and her colleague were very lovely. We enjoyed the breakfast and free sake tasting very much, and we really appreciated the efforts of the hotel to support local businesses and showcase products of Hiroshima as well as provide recommendations for special local cafes and restaurants. The room was beautiful and spacious and we even had a balcony. I loved the tatami mats and the sitting area we had in our room. The beds were also super comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Hiroshima!
